Invictus Names Head of Climate Risk Analytics

The Invictus Group has named Avik Ray as director of its new climate risk division.

Ray will be responsible for the development of analytics to help community banks navigate expected regulatory requirements for climate risk. His unique background in finance and visual communication has produced other data visualization tools connecting diverse data sources with loan-level data, giving community banks actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Prior to joining Invictus, Ray ran his own strategic communication business. He has also worked in various roles in finance in London, Geneva, and New York. He was the head of market and investment risk for Lloyds Private Bank, as well as head of market and liquidity risk for Lloyd’s Bank Corporate Business in New York. He has a Bachelor of Science in economics from University College London and is a qualified treasurer (AMCT) and accountant. (ACMA).
